Grass-Fed Meats Delivered Once a Month
15 lbs of delicious pasture-raised pesticide-free and antibiotic-free local poultry, beef, and pork, from Wisconsin’s Driftless Region.
This farmer’s choice box will vary month-to-month and occasionally include grass-fed lamb, duck and/or Great Lakes fresh-caught and frozen fish.
We’ll play off the seasons, meaning you can expect brats during grilling season, beef roasts in the winter, and lamb in the spring!

We source meat from local farmers we know and trust with standards for high-quality, regenerative farming, organically raised (not necessarily certified) and grass-fed animals. Farms may rotate as availability changes over the year. Pork will always be from Enos Farms.

Shares delivered in reusable and returnable veggie produce boxes. All meat comes in plastic-for now this is the safest way for meat to be distributed, and keeps meat the freshest for the longest.

What this box is not
-This is not a custom box (although you have the ability to add up to 10 lbs custom items to it each month with our CSA Member 10% OFF coupon). If there is an item in your box you truly do not like or have an allergy to, we recommend that you give it to a friend or family member as a gift!
-This is not a box where you will receive organ meat. If you are interested in organ meats, please send us a message and we can get you our price list.
-This box is not for everyone, and we realize that. We hope that it caters to most of our customers who are looking to support sustainable agriculture, a healthy planet and have a bit of adventure (but not too much!) while they’re at it, to roll with whatever comes in their box each month. Our members love to cook but don’t always know the right technique—and that’s why we’re here to offer recipes and our know-how. Our members are willing to try something new and discover cuts they never would have tried before!
What This Box Is
Sustainable Meat means eating cuts from the animal other than your go-to favorites all of the time, in other words, the pig is not made entirely out of bacon.
That quanity discount you get for purchasing an entire animal at one time is what we are passing on to you. You don’t need to clear out the freezer to make room for half of a cow! We’ve got the freezer and the buying power and we’re able to portion out these high-quality products to our members throughout the year. This means you get $25 per pound premium steaks like t-bones, porterhouse and pork tenderloins at half the cost!
Sustainable Meat CSA Year at a Glance, approximately:
50-55 lbs of Chicken - 11 whole birds
50-60 lbs of Beef - ground, steaks, roasts, sausages
50-60 lbs of Pork - ground, roasts, sausages, cured meats like ham and bacon, chops
And occasionally/perhaps just once per year
1-3 lbs Great Lakes Fish
3-7 lbs Lamb
1 whole Duck
